Codex leaves marketplace-upgrade staging directories under ~/.codex/.tmp

Codex CLI/Desktop appears to leave marketplace staging directories behind under:\n\n~/.codex/.tmp/marketplaces/.staging/marketplace-upgrade-*\n\nObserved repeatedly across daily checks. This recurs after prior cleanup/OK states.\n\nExpected behavior: completed/obsolete marketplace-upgrade- staging directories should be cleaned automatically, or Codex should provide a safe cleanup mechanism.\n\nActual behavior: the directories accumulate until local monitoring reports WARN/CRITICAL-level bloat.\n\nSafety note: I have not deleted anything automatically; cleanup appears unsafe while Codex App/CLI may be running.
