What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open kitty terminal emulator.
Run codex v0.142.5
Suspend codex session with Ctrl-Z
=> Your terminal is unusable

What is the expected behavior?

The terminal is in a defined (text) state, where e.g. shell commands can be entered.
