[Bug] Editor freezes when using "@" to search/mention

What issue are you seeing?

For the past few months, I have been experiencing a critical and highly disruptive bug in Codex Desktop. Whenever I type @ followed by a search query, the entire editor freezes the moment the search results appear.

Given the steep subscription fee for this software, dealing with a workflow-breaking bug like this for months is incredibly frustrating. I actually had to manually modify the editor's global state just to unblock myself, as I have multiple active projects that rely on this functionality.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the editor in Codex Desktop.
2. Type @ to trigger the search/mention feature.
3. Start typing a query.
4. Wait for the search results dropdown/popup to appear.

Expected Behavior:
The search results should appear smoothly, and the editor should remain responsive, allowing me to select an item or continue typing.

Actual Behavior:
The editor completely freezes as soon as the search results are rendered on the screen.

Workaround Used:
I had to manually modify the editor's global state to bypass the freeze and keep working.
