Codex surfaces should be aware of available IDE integrations
Summary
Codex/ChatGPT surfaces currently feel siloed around IDE integration discovery. A user discovered that Antigravity has a Codex extension available under Extensions, after another Codex/ChatGPT conversation discussed the lack of an IDE-style setup as if no such integration existed.
This creates a fragmented experience: one Codex surface or session can surface local tooling/integrations while another counterpart has no awareness and gives incomplete guidance. Users are forced to manually bridge context between Codex surfaces.

Improve Codex cross-surface awareness, onboarding, or documentation so users are told when a Codex IDE extension/integration is available in their editor, including Antigravity or VS Code-compatible extension surfaces where applicable.

Why this matters
From the user perspective, the product feels like the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. If an integration exists in an IDE, Codex should be able to help users discover it or at least point them to the documented IDE extension path instead of treating the setup as unavailable or unknown.
