Add per-message and per-conversation token/quota usage display in Codex Desktop app

What variant of Codex are you using?

Codex Desktop app

What feature would you like to see?

Please add a practical usage view in the Codex Desktop app showing token and quota consumption at both the conversation and message level.

Current problem:
Codex Desktop app users can see remaining usage globally, but it is hard to understand which conversation or which message consumed the quota. This makes quota management opaque, especially for Pro/Team users working on large codebases or long-running tasks.

Requested UI:

  • Show tokens consumed per message
  • Show % of 5-hour quota consumed per message
  • Show % of weekly quota consumed per message
  • Show total usage per conversation

Why it matters:
This would make usage more transparent and actionable. Users could identify expensive prompts, understand which tasks consume the most quota, avoid accidental overuse, and better plan their work during long coding sessions.

Suggested placement:

In each message header or message menu
In /status for the current session, if applicable
In the Codex Desktop app usage dashboard grouped by conversation/session

This would make the Codex Desktop app much easier to manage for serious daily use.
