What issue are you seeing?

My Codex quota suddenly dropped to zero and my ChatGPT/Codex subscription was downgraded from the Pro tier to the Free tier, even though it has been less than a month since my last payment. My Pro access was granted through the "Codex for Open Source" initiative (granted March 2026). The account Settings page now shows "Free", which indicates an account-level subscription error rather than a usage-limit issue. I already opened a support ticket (Case Number: 11092347) which was escalated to a human specialist, but the issue has not been resolved yet. Several other users have reported similar downgrades on social media around the same time.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

The account should remain on the Pro tier as granted under the Codex for Open Source program, and the Codex quota should be restored accordingly.
