Chrome extension does not work reliably with multiple profiles

What issue are you seeing?
@chrome randomly tries to open tabs on the main profile instead of the profile it is installed into, some times works, and also says its getting blocked by other extensions ui.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Install the chrome profile on another chrome profile other than default profile, try to control existing tabs.
Happens even if installed only on the secondary profile.
What is the expected behavior?
Extension able to differentiate between profiles like agent-browser does and be able to select one if needed.
