What issue are you seeing?

Commit attribution appears to have been removed in #22412 and no longer works.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Have Codex commit any changes. After upgrading past 0.131.0, the feature no longer works.

What is the expected behavior?

Commit co-author trailers should still work when enabled. We have this enforced in our enterprise to try and track AI assisted development better.
