Codex Desktop does not refresh session context after /app handoff from CLI

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.623.141536

What subscription do you have?

Pro 20X

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 23.6.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

When I use the /app command in the CLI to hand off the current session to an already-open Codex Desktop instance, Codex Desktop unfortunately does not refresh the session. As a result, the context shown in Codex Desktop remains outdated and does not stay in sync with the terminal session.

The session content only becomes synchronized after restarting Codex Desktop. I hope this issue can be addressed so that Codex Desktop automatically refreshes and syncs the latest session context whenever /app is used.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 019f4057-5aa7-7790-a651-7b874d5bbc86

What is the expected behavior?

The expected behavior is that Codex Desktop should stay in sync with the CLI session after using the /app command. When the session is handed off from the CLI to an already-open Codex Desktop instance, Codex Desktop should automatically refresh and display the latest session context from the CLI without requiring a restart.
