What feature would you like to see?
Problem: Many developers use separate ChatGPT accounts for work and personal projects. Currently, switching requires signing out and signing back in, which interrupts workflows.
Proposal: Add an in-app account switcher similar to the ChatGPT web interface, allowing users to add multiple accounts and switch between them without logging out.
Benefit: Better separation of work and personal environments, faster switching, and a smoother developer experience.

Until this lands natively: I built a small MIT-licensed tool that swaps
~/.codex/auth.jsonbetween saved profiles without revoking anything, so each account stays signed in and switching takes a second — https://github.com/frndchagas/codex-accountIt quits/reopens the desktop app around the swap and writes refreshed tokens back into the profile it's switching away from, so saved accounts don't go stale. It never calls the API; it only moves the local file.
