What issue are you seeing?
Before today's update, I was able to select lines of markdown in the source/raw view and add an "in-line" comment. Now, when in markdown "source" mode, all I see is (Add to task|Edit).
This was a fantastic feature and I'd like to see it back.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
I would expect this to be update-wide
What is the expected behavior?
Select text in "Source" mode, comment box appears in line, write comment, hit enter to queue the comment, then you can batch send the comments.

update: I found the "edit" feature for inline commenting, but I don't like that it isn't async. I can't have multiple lines being edited at once or in one bulk run. Ideally comments allow for either adding to batch of comments or running/editing it immediately.
Same problem here. I need to comment file and add to chat just like in codex main thread. But file view tab can only do
add to chatoreditnow.The ideal workflow will be comment multiple place with
add to chatfeature along with comment. And send those comments to codex one time. Whether it's fix review or other type of comment.
