What issue are you seeing?
After updating to the unified Codex application, the navigation lists for Projects and Chats no longer sort by most recently updated. This used to work correctly and was a very useful workflow feature.

I created no-op dummy tasks in four existing projects (visual-builder, cx-mobile, cx-sales, and locks). Despite being updated most recently, the later project remains near the bottom of the Projects list rather than moving to the top. The attached screenshot shows the post-update ordering state.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Open the Codex desktop application after updating to the unified application.
- Note the order of projects and chats in the left navigation.
- Create or send a no-op message in a task within a project that is currently lower in the list (for example, locks).
- Return to the navigation.
Actual result: the project and chat ordering does not update to place the most recently updated items first.
Observed evidence: I repeated this with no-op tasks in visual-builder, cx-mobile, cx-sales, and locks; locks remained near the bottom after its new task was created.
What is the expected behavior?
_No response_
Additional information
Regression: this worked correctly before the unified Codex application update. Evidence will be supplied as a redacted screenshot only.
