I meet the same issue. I'm out of regular token and want to use 5.3 token instead and this error pops up. Please fix it ASAP

I can reproduce this after latest Codex→ChatGPT desktop merge. With normal quota exhausted and spark quota available, using 5.3-codex-spark in merged desktop fails: Unsupported parameter: 'reasoning.summary' is not supported with the 'gpt-5.3-codex-spark' model. CLI does not exhibit this same failure for the same model/account. Seems desktop-only regression in request/metadata path introduced by merge.

@etraut-openai After updating the macOS version of Codex to the latest release, GPT-5.3 Codex Spark is completely broken. Come on, guys—please wake up and get this fixed.
