What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Codex 26.707.3748.0

What subscription do you have?

What platform is your computer?

Window

What issue are you seeing?

Environment:

  • Windows 11
  • Microsoft Store version
  • Codex version: 26.707.3748.0

Description:
I accidentally entered the value 1216 in the Codex Settings panel (I don't remember the exact setting name).

After saving the setting:

  • The entire UI became massively scaled.
  • Huge letters are rendered across the interface.
  • The application is almost unusable.

What I tried:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling
  • Resetting the Store app
  • Deleting LocalCache and Package folders
  • Restarting Windows
  • Removing local configuration
  • Testing both Codex and Codex Beta

Result:
The issue persisted and eventually affected both Codex and Codex Beta.
ChatGPT Classic works normally.

Expected:
The UI should either reject invalid values or provide a safe recovery/reset mechanism.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I accidentally entered the value 1216 in the Codex Settings panel for font size by mistake.

What is the expected behavior?
