Codex quota drains extremely fast after ChatGPT update when generating large PPT content

What issue are you seeing?

After updating the ChatGPT client (Plus subscription), quota consumption has become abnormally high:
Writing a single document in a new conversation consumes 44% of my Codex quota.
Generating one image uses up 17% of the quota.
Requesting data compilation and a complete 2025 Shanghai Employment Report exhausted 100% of my entire 5-hour rolling Codex usage limit in one go.
Model used: GPT 5.6 Sol high tier.
This extreme rapid quota drain did not occur prior to the ChatGPT update.
