Codex starts and wants more permissions. It hangs and doesn't allow me to move further. Codex is a bricked.

What issue are you seeing?

When I started the app, the attached screen showed up.

Clicking on "finish setup" does not work. Clicking on the link to continue with limited access does not work.

I had to rename my .codex directory to .codex_old and start the app. Then the permissions dialog opened up and I was able to proceed, nowever my entire history is in the old directory and I'm having to figure out how to get that all back.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

I don't know what triggered this. I stopped codex and restarted it. This showed up.

What is the expected behavior?

Expected behavior is to have the permissions dialog show up so I can grant the permissions and then proceed.
