Feature Request: Cloud Sync for Codex Projects Across Devices

What feature would you like to see?

I frequently work across two MacBooks using the same ChatGPT Work account.

Currently, Codex Projects and Tasks are local to each machine and do not sync across devices. While I understand this is the current design, it significantly impacts the developer experience.

ChatGPT conversations sync seamlessly, but Codex Projects cannot be continued on another Mac without recreating the project.

I would love to see optional cloud synchronization for:

• Project metadata
• Task history
• Agent conversation history
• Project settings

This would provide a workflow similar to Claude Code, allowing developers to continue their work seamlessly across multiple devices while still keeping local execution environments.

This feature would greatly improve productivity for developers who regularly switch between desktop and laptop computers.
