Codex desktop apps return 403 for some requests, while regular quota-based requests work

What issue are you seeing?

All chat requests in the Codex desktop app fail with HTTP status 403.
The ChatGPT Classic desktop app also shows the following message:
“Unusual activity has been detected from your device. Try again later.”

Regular quota-based Codex requests still work.
The regular ChatGPT web chat also continues to work normally.

Actual behavior
All Codex chat requests fail with HTTP 403
ChatGPT Classic shows an “Unusual activity” warning
Regular quota-based Codex requests still work
ChatGPT in the browser works normally

Expected behavior
Codex chat requests should work without returning HTTP 403 or triggering an “Unusual activity” warning.

Troubleshooting already attempted
Signed out of the Codex app
Signed in again
Restarted both desktop apps
Confirmed that regular quota-based Codex requests still work
Confirmed that ChatGPT in the browser still works

I just logged out of the openai classic app, when I try to login again I get :

Oops, an error occurred!
Something went wrong. Please make sure your device's date and time are set properly. Check that your internet connection is stable, then restart the app and try again.

I get the same when I try to login with a passkey:

It CodexApp, QuickChat only ... Codex project chats and chat in the Web-App not impacted, newer ChatGPT app on iPhone works fine too.

Just noticed it's working now... I think they fixed the api call and token validation

The Codex app Quckchat works for me again. But when I try to login into der chatgpt desktop app I get :

``Failed with error 401, message: Unable to verify authorization token``
