Chat history does not sync in new macOS ChatGPT app

What issue are you seeing?

My existing ChatGPT conversation history does not appear in the Chat section of the new macOS ChatGPT app.

All of my conversations are visible at chatgpt.com when signed into the same account and Personal workspace. However, the desktop app shows no previous Chat conversations.

I have confirmed that the account and workspace match. I have also signed out and back in, quit and reopened the app, restarted the Mac, and switched between Codex and Chat. The conversations still do not appear.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

The Chat section of the macOS app should sync with my ChatGPT account and display the same conversation history that is visible at chatgpt.com.

Additional information

The problem began immediately after installing the new combined ChatGPT/Codex desktop app.
