What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
Version 26.707.41301
What subscription do you have?
Yes
What platform is your computer?
macOS lastest
What issue are you seeing?
In the new ChatGPT Work/Codex desktop app interface, the Chat panel shows my individual conversation history but does not show my existing ChatGPT Projects. These projects contain organized chats, files, instructions, and project memory, so their absence makes the new interface less useful for ongoing work.
Please add access to existing ChatGPT Projects within ChatGPT Work, or provide a clear and convenient way to switch between Work and the full ChatGPT interface without losing context.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?
I should be able to see my chat projects.

I can confirm this issue.
macOS 26.707.51957.
My ChatGPT Projects are visible on chatgpt.com but not in the new ChatGPT Work/Codex app.
Chats sync correctly, only Projects are missing.
I can confirm I'm experiencing the same issue.
After updating to ChatGPT Desktop 26.707.51957, all of my existing ChatGPT Projects disappeared from the desktop application while they are still available on chatgpt.com.

Yeah. It's intentional. I hate it. Bring back Chat Classic!
I can confirm the same experience.

I confirm the same infuriating experience!

This makes the desktop app completely worthless until resolved.
I resolved it.
If you have Homebrew installed on your Mac, just run:
This fixed the issue for me. I tried the same method, and it worked perfectly.
Confirmed I have the same experience, This is the worst update I meet. It's better to split into two apps.
ChatGPT 26.707.91948, cannot find the chat project anymore. Still can see it in mobile application and chatgpt web.
I cant imagine how will it be look like, Codex project and Chat project are not the same purpose.
The project still appears on the phone if you connect it to the computer. So the issue is probably the UI.
