What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.707.51957
What subscription do you have?
The mis-matching of the progress bar and its reasoning effort
What platform is your computer?
Darwin 24.3.0 arm64 arm
What issue are you seeing?
The wrong UI matching for reasoning effort in Web and MacOS app.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- In web browser's Codex, when you choose the reasoning effort,it is supposed to be low, middle, high, very high, max. While the choices stopped at very high. And it has some mismatching(IDK it's translation or what). There is choice that's not included in the web page: 超高(Super High),最高(Highest). While the 超高(Super High) marked as faster credit using. But actually in logic it is supposed to be the 最高(Highest).__These two UI designs bring horrible UX for misleading semantic and inconvenient choice of the bar.__
- In Codex MacOS app.The bar has the same problem above that only has middle, high and very high.__And what's worse is there's only 超高(SuperHigh) choice here. There's 2 identical 超高(SuperHigh) icons here. One is above with nothing followed. The other is below written that faster credit using__.This is horrible...
What is the expected behavior?
- Be semantic right.Get rid of two same icon written 超高(SuperHigh).
- Alignment for Bar and advanced settings.Have the same sync choice for these for better UX.
