Windows ChatGPT Work freezes when continuing a regular chat into Work for the first time

Environment
Platform: Windows desktop app (official OpenAI ChatGPT Work)
Installed: Yesterday (latest available version)
First time using Work mode
Account: ChatGPT Work
OS: Windows 11 (如果不是 Win11 就改成你的系统)
Steps to reproduce
Install the latest ChatGPT Work Windows app.
Open an existing regular conversation.
Click Continue in Work.
The app starts creating a new Work task.
The UI freezes.
Expected behavior

The conversation should be converted into a Work task/project and remain usable.

Actual behavior
The UI freezes.
The window can still be moved and resized.
The tray icon remains responsive and shows Running.
Restarting the app restores the same broken state.
The left sidebar briefly shows "Continuing from <conversation name>", then changes to "New Task", after which the right panel stays blank forever.
Web version works normally.
The Projects page on the web is empty (no project was actually created).
Additional observations
This happened on the first ever use of Work mode.
The source conversation was a normal chat.
The app appears stuck attempting to restore a partially created Work task.
