[macOS] Popped-out ChatGPT window ignores zoom and window controls do not respond

• MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019, Intel Core i5
• macOS Sequoia 15.7.7

What issue are you seeing?

When a regular ChatGPT conversation is opened from the desktop app using Open in a new window, the popped-out chat window has multiple window-management problems:

1. Text zoom does not apply to the popped-out chat window.

• Zoom commands affect the main app window.
• The detached/popped-out ChatGPT window remains at a very small text size.
• The popped-out window does not appear to inherit or preserve the selected zoom level.

1. The standard macOS traffic-light window controls do not respond normally.

• The red Close button, yellow Minimize button, and green Zoom/Full Screen button in the top-left corner do not work as expected.
• I have to manage the window using the macOS Window menu instead.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the ChatGPT desktop app.
2. Open a regular ChatGPT conversation.
3. Click Open in a new window.
4. Try to zoom the chat text.
5. Try to use the red, yellow, and green macOS window controls.

Expected behavior

• The popped-out ChatGPT window should respond to zoom commands independently, or inherit the app zoom level.
• The red, yellow, and green macOS window controls should behave normally.

Actual behavior

• Zoom affects the main app window instead of the popped-out chat window.
• The popped-out window remains too small to read comfortably.
• The macOS window controls do not respond normally.
