What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.707.62119 (Released July 13, 2026)

What subscription do you have?

ChatGPT Plus

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm Bash-3.2$

What issue are you seeing?

After updating to ChatGPT for macOS Version 26.707.62119 (Released July 13, 2026), the desktop app no longer displays any of my chat history, Projects, or saved Memory.

My account is correct and my ChatGPT Plus subscription is active.

The same account works perfectly in the browser, where all chats, Projects, and Memory are present.

I have already:

  • Signed out and signed back in.
  • Restarted my Mac.
  • Completely reinstalled the application.
  • Verified that the browser displays all my data correctly.

The desktop app still shows no chats and no Projects. This appears to be a synchronization issue specific to the macOS desktop application.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

The desktop app should fully synchronize with my account and display all existing conversations, Projects, and saved Memory. Since all data is available in the browser using the same account, the macOS app is expected to show the same data without requiring any additional setup or recovery
