What issue are you seeing?
Anytime I try and run a task in Codex, I get "Error creating task Timeout"

What is the expected behavior?
I can't fix the "What Steps to reproduce", putting it here.
- Hit New on a folder in codex
- Type a prompt
- Get a timeout. Works fine in T3 code though...

I have the special secure account in Codex... maybe this is the issue?

It may be related to an MCP, ask chat to create a prompt to do a diagnostic run the locate why the thread times out and for me it was related to an MCP that I'd installed that was being called at the beginning of all thread launches and had issues.
run that diagnostic in an existing thread. (the prompt should have context that the existing thread is unrelated but necessary due to new threads not launching). codex should be able to disable or recommend which MCP to remove. Hope that helps.
