What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.707.72221

What subscription do you have?

Business

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm;macOS 26.5.2 ;MacBook Pro (M5 Pro)

What issue are you seeing?

When macOS Camera Effects (Video Effects) are enabled, the Codex Desktop app consistently exhibits a noticeably stuttery UI animation when restoring a minimized window from the Dock.

The issue occurs every time (100% reproducible).

The lag is only visible during the window restore animation. Once the animation finishes, the application behaves normally and remains responsive.

This appears to affect only the Codex Desktop app UI.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Enable macOS Camera Effects (Video Effects).

Launch the Codex Desktop app.

Minimize the window to the Dock.

Click the Dock icon (or the minimized window) to restore it.

Observe the restore animation.

What is the expected behavior?

The window should restore smoothly using the standard macOS animation without dropped frames or UI stuttering.
