Older ChatGPT conversations are searchable but do not appear in the new ChatGPT/Codex app sidebar

Summary:
In the new ChatGPT/Codex desktop app, many older ChatGPT conversations do not appear in the sidebar, even though they still exist and are searchable.

What I verified:

• I am signed into the same account as in the older ChatGPT app.
• I am in my personal workspace.
• The older ChatGPT app shows the older conversations normally.
• In the new ChatGPT/Codex app, search can find the missing conversations.
• I can open and read those conversations from search results.
• After opening them, they still do not appear in the sidebar.

What I tried:

• Restarted the new app
• Signed out and back in
• Confirmed the app is fully up to date
• Opened missing conversations from search and scrolled through them
• Checked sidebar organization options
• Set Tasks to “Organize: in one list”

What I observed:

• Under Tasks, the conversations that appear seem to be VSCode/Codex work items, not my ordinary older ChatGPT conversations.
• Quick Chat / Recent Chats shows only 5 chats, not full conversation history.
• I could not find any setting to show all conversations in the sidebar.
• Search can still find the missing conversations, so this does not look like data loss.

Expected behavior:

• Older ChatGPT conversations should appear in a browsable sidebar history, or there should be a clear setting/view for all conversations.

Actual behavior:

• Older conversations are searchable and readable, but many do not appear anywhere in the sidebar history of the new app.
