What issue are you seeing?

The new macOS app is not usable for my normal ChatGPT workflow. Chats open in a small floating panel over a mostly empty Work canvas, and there is no way to expand the chat to fill the main app window. Popping the chat into a separate window gives it more space, but then I lose easy access to the chat list and cannot switch conversations efficiently. Projects are also missing from the sidebar even though they appear correctly on the web and iPhone. The app needs a conventional full-size chat view with a persistent sidebar for chats and projects.

What is the expected behavior?

I'd like to be able to expand the chat window to fill the "desktop" area of the app and keep the main app windowed with the sidebar visible.
