Potential bug: Codex cannot initialize in Dev Containers

What issue are you seeing?

There are issues to login and establish Codex in Visual Studio Code if it is installed inside Dev Container.
On Tubleweed (openSUSE), it helps if I run VSC with --disable-gpu.
I am also having difficulties on Windows.
Other VSC extensions (including AI coding agent extensions) work normally inside Dev Container.

There is no error shown. Just seeingOpenAI logo inside Codex tab.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Clone specific git repo with devcontainers definition inside named container volume and try to install and login to Codex.
Installation of Codex extension works without any issues.

What is the expected behavior?
