What issue are you seeing?
Subject - Regression: Legacy ChatGPT Projects do not appear in ChatGPT Work for macOS (v26.707.62119)
Description - I believe I have identified a regression in the latest ChatGPT Work desktop application for macOS.
Environment - ChatGPT Plus - macOS (fully updated)
ChatGPT Work - Version 26.707.62119
Expected behavior - All existing ChatGPT Projects should appear in the desktop application exactly as they do on chatgpt.com.
Actual behavior - The Projects page in the desktop application is completely empty.
Existing ChatGPT Projects continue to appear normally on chatgpt.com.
Individual conversations synchronize correctly.
Project organization does not.
What I verified
-Same OpenAI account on web and desktop.
-Signed out and back in.
-Restarted the application.
-Restarted the computer.
-Updated macOS.
-Updated ChatGPT Work to the latest version.
-Waited for synchronization.
-No change.
Additional observations
-Desktop search finds standalone chats.
-Desktop search does not find existing Project names.
-Projects created prior to the ChatGPT Work update appear intact on chatgpt.com.
-The desktop app displays the Projects page but reports no Projects.
Impact - I have a large professional workflow built around ChatGPT Projects, including hundreds of conversations organized by case, research topic, and clinical project.
Examples include: - Guardian Wellness, Wise Mind, JH Case, Couples, First Responder Wellness research, TacStim research
The projects remain available on the web, but the desktop application has effectively removed the organizational structure that my workflow depends on. This makes the desktop app significantly less usable.
Possible cause- The issue appears to affect legacy cloud ChatGPT Projects created before the release of ChatGPT Work. The desktop application appears to synchronize conversations but not Project metadata.
Reproduction
-Sign into ChatGPT Plus using ChatGPT Work for macOS (v26.707.62119).
-Use an account containing Projects created prior to the ChatGPT Work release.
-Open Projects.
-Observe that no Projects are listed.
-Visit chatgpt.com using the same account.
-Observe that all Projects are present.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
