Usage resets were applied to current allowance instead of accumulating

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.707.9981.0

What subscription do you have?

Pro 5x

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

Recent Codex usage resets did not accumulate as expected. Instead, the resets appear to have been applied against my current usage bar/allowance, even though my usage before the reset was still relatively modest.

As a result, I did not receive the additional usable capacity I expected from the resets. Other colleagues with comparable accounts reported that this did not happen to them, which suggests inconsistent reset behavior across accounts.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 019f4e46-b741-7570-9462-94158ae61910

What is the expected behavior?

Each granted reset should restore or add the intended usage allowance independently and consistently. It should not be consumed by, merged into, or offset against the current usage bar when the account still has modest usage. Users receiving the same reset should see equivalent results.

Additional information

Please review the account-side reset and usage-ledger events associated with the Feedback ID above. The behavior appears account-specific because colleagues reported that their resets were preserved/applied correctly.

No explicit error message was shown; the issue is the resulting usage balance and reset accounting.
