Following the recent update to the new ChatGPT macOS desktop application, the desktop app no longer displays the majority of my Projects.

The browser version (chatgpt.com), using exactly the same OpenAI account, correctly displays all of my Projects, including:

  • Languages & Translations
  • Lespēja
  • Based On Me
  • Other pinned Projects

However, the macOS desktop application only displays a single Project ("MY LORDS TABLE").

The missing Projects are extremely important to my daily workflow. For example, my "Languages & Translations" Project contains a substantial library of refined prompts, reusable translation workflows and prompt engineering that I use constantly. Without access to these Projects from the desktop application, the app is significantly less useful for professional work.

Troubleshooting already completed:

• Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the ChatGPT desktop application.
• Signed out and signed back in.
• Confirmed the browser and desktop app are using the same OpenAI account.
• Confirmed there is only one ChatGPT application installed on my Mac.
• Restarted both the application and the Mac.
• Submitted diagnostic logs through the built-in feedback tool (Feedback ID above).

None of these steps resolved the issue.

This appears to be a desktop application synchronisation or rendering issue rather than missing account data, because all Projects remain fully accessible through chatgpt.com.

I have attached screenshots demonstrating:

  1. Browser showing all Projects correctly.
  2. Desktop application showing only one Project.
  3. Confirmation of the uploaded diagnostic logs.

I would appreciate confirmation as to whether this is a known regression affecting the latest macOS desktop application and whether a fix is planned.

Thank you.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Attempting to find projects.

What is the expected behavior?
