Trying to paste code like __init__ formats it as init even if I paste it after a backtick.

Paste code like __init__ and see it get formatted as bold.

It doesn't get formatted.

How could this "feature" have possibly been merged? This is the most basic workflow with Codex.
I am not at all pleased with a wysiwyg UI in a code oriented system. Plain text - sure, I might use markdown conventions - but I don't want it rendered or auto formatted in this text box.
