Feature request: option to disable hover-triggered sidebar reveal

Problem
In the Codex desktop app on Windows, the left sidebar reappears whenever the mouse pointer passes over the left edge after the sidebar has been hidden. This is easy to trigger accidentally and interrupts work.
Requested behavior
Please add a setting such as "Open sidebar on hover". When disabled, the sidebar should open only through the toolbar button or the keyboard shortcut (currently Ctrl+B on Windows).
Why this matters
Some users prefer a deliberate, keyboard- or click-only sidebar toggle. The current hover reveal makes it difficult to keep the sidebar out of the way while moving the mouse around the window.

I can reproduce the same issue in Codex App version 26.721.41059 on Windows 11.
My display configuration consists of two extended monitors. Codex is positioned on the secondary monitor to the right of the primary display. The secondary monitor uses portrait orientation.
When the left sidebar is collapsed, moving the pointer from the primary monitor into the Codex window necessarily crosses the left edge of the app. This repeatedly triggers the hover-based sidebar reveal, even though I do not intend to open the sidebar. The temporary sidebar then covers a significant portion of the conversation, which is especially disruptive on a narrow portrait display.
I would like an option to completely disable hover-triggered sidebar reveal while preserving manual control through the toolbar button and Ctrl+B.
No data is lost and the application does not crash, but the current behavior regularly interrupts normal multi-monitor use.
I can reproduce this on Codex Desktop for Windows (version 26.803.5235.0). The repeated hover reveal is not merely cosmetic: it interrupts normal pointer movement and disrupts focus during sustained work.
Please add a dedicated Disable hover-triggered sidebar reveal preference. When enabled, the sidebar should open only through the toolbar button or
Ctrl+B, while retaining the current behavior as the default for users who prefer it.+1. This behavior is genuinely disruptive on Windows.
I keep the sidebar collapsed because I want to maximize the conversation area, but the moment my cursor passes near the left edge of the window, the sidebar opens again. This happens constantly during normal mouse movement, especially when switching between apps or monitors.
The frustrating part is that collapsing the sidebar does not really feel like “collapsing” it if ordinary cursor movement can immediately bring it back.
Please add a setting to completely disable hover-to-reveal. When disabled, the sidebar should stay collapsed until the user explicitly opens it with the toolbar button or Ctrl+B.
Ideally, there should be three modes:
Open on hover
Click / keyboard only
Always expanded
Even just a simple “Disable hover-triggered sidebar reveal” toggle would solve the problem.
