Extremely Slow — ACL before every command, 20-30s each time

What issue are you seeing?

No error message, but a task that would normally take 30 minutes takes 3 hours.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Just running any task in the app

What is the expected behavior?

I don't have this issue when using the CLI. This has only started happening since around July 10th.
