Accepting an AI edit in a writing block does not apply the changes

What issue are you seeing?

In the Codex Windows desktop app, I edited a writing block and asked Codex to revise its content. Codex successfully displayed a comparison UI with “Reject” and “Accept” buttons.

After clicking “Accept”, nothing changed on the page. The original content remained visible, and there was no confirmation, error message, or other indication that the revised content had been applied.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open a conversation containing a writing block, such as a document or Markdown table.

1. Click the edit action on the writing block.

1. Submit an instruction asking Codex to revise the content.

1. Wait for the comparison UI with the “Reject” and “Accept” buttons.

1. Click “Accept”.

1. Observe that the page and writing block do not change.

What is the expected behavior?

Clicking “Accept” should replace the previous writing-block content with the revised version, close the comparison UI, and save the accepted revision in the conversation.
