Codex App 26.707.9981.0 crashes immediately on Windows with exception 0xc06d007f

What issue are you seeing?

The Codex desktop app launches and briefly displays the main interface, but it automatically crashes and closes within a few seconds. No user interaction is required to trigger the crash.

The app briefly shows my previous local workspace and task interface, but it closes before I am able to click any button, open a task, enter text, or perform any other operation.

Windows Reliability Monitor records the following crash:

I have already tried both "Repair" and "Reset" from Windows Settings. Repair did not resolve the issue. After Reset, the app still displayed the previous interface and did not ask me to sign in again, but it continued to crash automatically within a few seconds of launch.
