Unexpected automatic usage reset instead of milestone banked resets

What issue are you seeing?

Based on Tibo's announcements, users should have received at least two milestone rewards in the form of banked usage resets after the 6M milestone.

A banked reset should be stored on the account and redeemed manually at a time chosen by the user. It should not immediately reset the user's current weekly usage.

As previously reported in issue #33017, I did not receive the expected banked resets for either the 7M or 8M milestones.

However, I have now found that my weekly usage was automatically reset to full. At the time of this automatic reset, I still had approximately 27% of my weekly usage remaining.

What I received:

• One immediate full reset of my current weekly usage
• The reset occurred while I still had approximately 27% remaining

What I did not receive:

• The two, or possibly three, banked resets that should be available for me to redeem manually
• Any visible banked reset balance associated with the milestone rewards

It appears that an immediate usage reset may have been applied to my account instead of adding the promised banked resets.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

This appears to be an account-side issue rather than something that can be reproduced through a specific local action.

1. Use an individual ChatGPT Pro 5X account with access to Codex and ChatGPT Work.
2. Check the Usage page after the 7M and 8M milestone reward announcements.
3. Observe that no banked resets were added to the account.
4. Continue using the weekly allowance until approximately 27% remains.
5. Check the Usage page again.
6. Observe that the weekly allowance has been automatically reset to full, while the banked reset balance is still missing.

What is the expected behavior?

The milestone rewards should be added as banked resets that I can redeem manually when needed.

My current weekly usage should not be reset automatically unless I explicitly redeem one of those resets.

Based on the milestone announcements, my account should currently have at least two, and possibly three, banked resets available.
