What version of the Codex App are you using?

26.707.12708.0

What platform is your computer?

Windows x64

What issue are you seeing?

Japanese voice dictation in the Codex desktop app repeatedly transcribes the spoken letter "D" as "B", even when the letter is pronounced clearly.

Example spoken phrase:

P, D, C, A, サイクル

Actual transcription:

P, B, C, A、サイクル。

The D-to-B substitution occurred repeatedly across multiple attempts.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open the Codex desktop app on Windows.
  2. Use Codex's built-in voice dictation in the message composer.
  3. Speak in Japanese: P, D, C, A, サイクル.
  4. Observe that the spoken letter D may be transcribed as B.

What is the expected behavior?

The clearly spoken letter D should be transcribed as D, producing P, D, C, A、サイクル.

Additional information
