[VS Code + Ubuntu] repeated crash

What issue are you seeing?

The codex extension is hanging and remains idle. After a minute or so, VS Code will crash.
The issue can be repeated consistently.
After disabling several extensions, it appears that the crash of VS Code is caused by Codex.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Simply launch VS Code and open codex in the side bar. Wait for 1-2 minutes. VS Code will close or crash.

What is the expected behavior?

Temporary fix : Run VS code without hardware acceleration :

code --disable-gpu
