What issue are you seeing?

The application throws an error message during execution. When I attempt to close the error dialog or the application itself, the process does not terminate gracefully. Instead, the application automatically restarts and displays the exact same error, entering an infinite crash loop. This prevents me from using or closing the software normally.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open the Codex App and have a project active.

Have another task running concurrently in the background within the same project.

The application instantly re-opens itself and triggers the same error again, creating an infinite crash loop.

What is the expected behavior?

When closing a critical error message or the application window, the process should terminate safely or return to a stable background state without forcefully restarting into the exact same error loop.

Additional information

Currently, the only workaround to escape this infinite loop is to manually kill the Codex process from the OS Task Manager/Activity Monit
