Codex constantly hung with (Not Responding)

What issue are you seeing?

I have a problem with Codex / ChatGPT app hanging most of the time with the title bar changing from ChatGPT to ChatGPT (Not Responding) while it hangs for a couple of minutes. Then it responds for a few seconds before going back to not responding. I uninstalled the application, restarted my computer and then reinstalled. I've also cleared the cache from my computer but even after doing all this the application still hanging (Not Responding). I can use the app on my iPhone to remotely interact with the computer that is running Codex and it doesn't hang and seems to update my coding project in Visual Studio from the prompts sent from my iPhone.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

This is occurring all the time. Just starting the application produces the issue.

What is the expected behavior?

I expect to be able to interact with the application and not have it be unresponsive all the time.
