Remove the pet feature from Codex

What feature would you like to see?

Please remove the pet feature from Codex.

Why?

The feature feels out of place in a professional developer tool. It is distracting, can waste time when opened or triggered accidentally, and adds UI, rendering, configuration, testing, and maintenance complexity without providing a meaningful development workflow benefit.

There are already separate requests to hide or disable the feature, but those retain the underlying complexity. Removing it would keep Codex more focused and reduce the surface area the team has to maintain.

Suggested outcome

• Remove the pet UI and its entry points.
• Remove the supporting rendering and configuration code.
• Keep the product focused on coding and agent workflows.
