App freezes for 3-10 seconds shortly after opening any new chat.

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

What issue are you seeing?
Upon starting any new chat a couple of characters will populate the chat window but then the app freezes for anywhere from 3-10 seconds. Any typing during this time is buffered and fills in when the app becomes responsive again. This sometimes happens a second time shortly after the first freeze. Once this is recovered the chat works normally.
This does not happen on web chatgpt.
Uninstalled and tried on a separate windows profile, same issue.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
In any blank chat start typing.
