What issue are you seeing?
Windows desktop app repeatedly spawns PowerShell WMI process snapshots, causing sustained high CPU in WMI Provider Host. This causes sluggishness in the ChatGPT/Codex app and sustained high utilization on the CPU.
The utilization may, at times, drop or disappear before resuming a short while afterwards. Killing all Codex processes from the Task Manager corrects the problem. Codex, itself, was also used to investigate and confirm the finding. Simply starting the app back up again will cause the behavior to resume.
