What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Latest, MacOS desktop -- I can't find your modal

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

MacOS M2 24 GB

What issue are you seeing?

Long running threads are unable to access plugins. It's happened with Sites and Descript. Sub thread newly spawned can access.

I've seen it happen 5+ times today.

My thread suggests: So this strongly indicates a Codex tool-injection/routing bug similar to the Sites issue—not a problem with your Descript installation or account. The delegated agent inspected only its tool registry and did not access any Descript content.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 019f6217-8660-7ed1-9b28-80b6ef5c12d0

What is the expected behavior?

Ask it to update a sites and I expect the files to update, instead it get, "’ll create a small projectless Codex task whose only job is to test whether the referenced Descript integration exposes callable tools there. It won’t touch Descript data or change anything.
List projects, Created chat

The test exposed a second app-level failure: the task-creation capability is advertised in the registry, but calling it returns “No handler registered for tool: create_thread.” That closely resembles the Descript/Sites symptom. I’ll still test a fresh delegated agent context, which is the closest available substitute, so we can determine whether tool exposure changes with context."

Additional information

It's repeatedly happing today. First time was: Task/thread id: 019f6824-70fd-77a2-ab86-631147c086b6
