Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm
What issue are you seeing?
Here are examples of a couple threads where I was writing in French, but it added a Chinese/Japanese/Korean character to the end of the generated thread title:
- Corriger la détection des nouveaux用
- Diagnostiquer l’écran vide après un分
It looks like there is a strict limit for an automatic thread title around 36 characters, and when the LLM responsible for generating these titles runs out of characters, it starts abbreviating into a foreign script. That's kinda smart but not helpful when the user doesn't understand the other language 😅
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Happens randomly, on ~1% of thread titles in my experience.
What is the expected behavior?
no mixed languages in thread titles ; I'd rather have a longer title and a tooltip
