VS Code Codex extension 26.721.30844 on Windows displays “Oops, an error has occurred” when opening local sessions.

The extension log reports:
403 Forbidden: /settings/user
attachAuth=false
Request ID: a203206cba13330d-KIN

The same extension-bundled Codex CLI successfully lists and resumes the sessions, confirming that the local session data is intact. Reloading the VS Code window did not resolve the extension UI failure.

this is not the solution, ticket shouldnt have been closed
