What steps can reproduce the bug?

When I run codex-cli on a terminal I can both: run it on the right side of the screen (I like to have the file tree on the left and always open) and use a custom size that works well for me (smaller than code) but bigger than VSode UI labels. I like that with the VSCode extension, it's easier (and possible) to leverage image uploads, as opposed to the CLI, but the small font size and having it on the left (or moving the whole pane to the right + having to switch when looking at files) makes it suboptimal, and for now I'm going back to codex-cli. I wish this is something that can be figured out.
