What version of the IDE extension are you using?
26.721.41059
What subscription do you have?
Pro
Which IDE are you using?
VS Code
What platform is your computer?
Linux 6.18.33.2-microsoft-standard-WSL2 x86_64 x86_64
What issue are you seeing?
Codex IDE extension will randomly switch the workspace to a different Codex IDE's workspace in a different VS Code window. It will then say something like:
The workspace is still absent; /workspaces contains only the [other] repository. This is the second consecutive mount-blocked turn.
I cannot safely inspect, edit, review, or dispatch agents against [current-project] until /workspaces/[current-project] is restored. Please reopen/remount the repository workspace. The last verified commit before disappearance was cb2f256.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Have two VS Code instances opened with Codex IDE on the same machine and eventually it will happen. Sometimes right away, sometimes hours later.
What is the expected behavior?
Codex doesn't randomly switch to a different workspace.
